other vices: busch light, dance floors
ellie goulding came to webster hall on thursday march 24.  man was i excited to see her—her album has been one of my favorites ever since virgin atlantic introduced me to her back in october.  and as i listen to her album while typing this post, it will continue to be one of my current favorites, but..
..she was not good live—somwhere between meh and bad on all songs.  so that was pretty disappointing.  and what’s with all these single female artists needing to bang on a drum during their performances?  first florence, now ellie.  i don’t get that.
on a bright note, the opening act was sweet—the knocks.  they’re like a cross between girl talk and a more synth-y chromeo.  check it.
