i had a blast. i was there alone, i had heard some pretty luke-warm reviews of her DC show, and my knack for standing behind impossibly tall dudes was in full effect. and i still had an absolute blast.
she’s great. downloading her album was one of the first steps of my foray into electropop. i hadn’t listened to the album in quite some time, so all the songs were sort of pleasantly surprising—“oh nice, forgot about this one!” “bulletproof,” isn’t at the top of my list, though it was pretty great live and a good ending note. “in for the kill” and “fascination” were the best.
next music question: does one pay $50 to see robyn at radio city music hall.. ?
