extra pickles

other vices: busch light, dance floors

i’ve got a little thing for bowling—you might know that by now.  as great as the lanes are at castro valley and fort myer, bowling on july 26 was probably at the most memorable of bowling locations—the white house.

josh has a friend who works for jill biden and apparently when you work in that sort of office you can reserve the white house bowling alley for you and 30 of your closest friends of friends of friends.

DC was fresh out of old style so i brought some goose island to honor presidential roots.  yes, that’s right—the white house bowling alley is BYOB.  how funny, right?  so 30 of us just rolled up to the old executive building (it isn’t technically in the white house, tear) with liquor in tow.

the sport got worse while the company got better as the night progressed—such as any BYOB event goes, i suppose.  but before all that started, i threw a strike on my very first roll—i could have died.
