i chilled in the hospital for 5 swine flu filled hours today. apparently “urgent care clinic” is just a euphemism for emergency room. it wasn’t too horrible a time though.
i didn’t break anything, so that’s good. the medical term used on my discharge papers is (very technical) “finger crush.” basically i probably jammed my fingers really hard into the ground and now they’re really swollen. so i get to wear some splints and this lovely ace bandage for a few days. the immobilization contraption i whipped up last night was way cuter.
