he's undoubtedly right
joe: i am in the library of congress main reading room. this is a very impressive room.
me: i'm jealous. i got a reader card but have never been (except with my parents on a really long and boring tour).
vaughn: how do you get a card?
me: there's a room for getting reader cards and you just go and do it. i think you're supposed to like, actually intend to do research. so after i got mine, there was a really old woman there, presumably volunteering her time, and she asked me what i was going to research..... and i made up a story about what i was going to do and acted really interested in the business section. but i think i'm actually a good person for doing it b/c i talked to her for like 10 minutes and old people like to talk to people.
joe: i'm picturing matt bouncing out of the room feeling all good about himself for talking to the lady. and as soon as he's gone she's going "that fucking kid would not shut up."
